My name is Kari Barchenger and I started Memories Forever Photography in 1997. I started out photographing weddings. In 1998 my family moved to Fargo and I continued doing weddings and in the years that followed, add other forms of portraiture.
My business was done out of my home until September of 2007, when I moved to my current location.
I am a Graduate of Willmar Area Vocational Technical Institute (now part of Ridgewater College), which has a two years course that teaches all aspects of photography. I feel that this background is an important part of who I am as a photographer.
I have continued to educate myself so that I can stay on top of the continually changing technology in the photographic industry.
I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America. This organization strives to provide continuing education in the industry and to set standards of excellence for its members.
